Please bring the following to the first class: a copy of the Fantastitch, or Slipstravaganza, or Winter Lights shawl by Stephen West (we will be happy to help you purchase through Ravelry), the recommended circular needle 32" or longer, stitch markers, pencil, notebook, a photo or other colour inspiration, and yarn from your stash that you are considering using for this project. We will be discussing colour and creating a colour story in the first class prior to casting on.
Megan taught herself to knit with a library book in 2007, and has been teaching classes since 2013. She is always searching for new techniques to learn, and has taken classes with Ysolda Teague, Felicity (Felix) Ford, Susan B. Anderson, and her personal knitting spirit animal, Cat Bordhi. When not working out sticky knitting problems, Megan can be found playing board games with her family, walking her rescue dogs, and studiously avoiding both of her spinning wheels.
