Please bring a copy of the pattern you would like to knit, along with the required needles and yarn to the first class. We would be happy to assist you in selecting your pattern from a list of tried and true designs in store prior to the start of class. Additional materials will depend on the pattern selected. Please bring a notebook and pencil.
Karla?s love for fibre arts started at the age of eight when her grandmother taught her to crochet butterfly fridge magnets for the hospital auxiliary. She crocheted on and off through her school years and dabbled in other fibre arts like embroidery, cross stitch and quilting. Karla is a middle school science teacher who discovered knitting at the start of her career. Over the past 11 years Karla has relentlessly consumed any and all knitting skills and information she can get her hands on. She is an active member of the Ponderosa Fibre Arts Guild, has begun to stretch her designer muscles writing patterns, and is a co-organizer of Yarn Okanagan.
