Join us for a Sock Blank Dyeing Workshop. Each participant with get to hand paint sock yarn that has been pre knit into a piece of fabric. This is a fun way to apply dye to your yarn and allows you to encode a special message or picture into your project. When you take the knitted fabric apart to knit into the object of your choice, you will get something with the same colours, but in a different order.  It is always fun watching how the colours play out in your project. The dyed blanks make great gifts for knitting/crochet friends, or to have children paint them for parents/grandparents.

There are 2 types of pre knit sock blanks. One is knit with one strand of yarn and the other is knit with two strands at the same time making it great for colourful matching socks.
