The designs of Alessandra Adelaide Needleworks, or AAN, are the imaginative versions of everyday objects or symbols. Christmas (“the sweetest holiday”), Halloween (“the funniest party”), Animals (“how would it be possible to live without?”), Hearts (“because they are the center of the world”), Trees (“they are the natural representation of life”), and Mandala ("complicated like thoughts") are Alessandra's favorite subjects. Alessandra loves to measure and study the colors of her designs, from monochromatic drawings to those of many colors. Often, she uses different fibers of the same color to play with light effects. Alessandra also collaborates with important illustrators to offer a catalog of cross-stitch patterns as varied as possible. She also presents a catalog of drawings for traditional embroidery: simple, modern designs that are easily customized.
