Fat Marmot Knits BFL BFL BFL

Nikki is a Kelowna-based yarn dyer. BFL is wool from the Bluefaced Leicester sheep. It is a lovely fibre to knit with and has good drape (great for shawls). The fibers are a little sturdier than Merino, so it can be used for socks. But it's still soft and a suitable fibre for a next-to-skin garment. Colours in dyed BFL fibre are more muted and soft, yet rich and eye catching. BFL does have a bit of sheep scent.
