Ashford Wheels and Looms
We stock Ashford looms, spinning wheels and accessories. This Christchurch, New Zealand company has been building the finest looms and spinning wheels for 85 years!

If you've never tried weaving, our rigid heddle looms, also known as knitter's looms) are the perfect starting loom. You can be ready to weave your first project in 30 minutes. They're a great way to use up odds and ends of yarn as you create bags, tea towels, scarves, wall hangings - they're so versatile!

We have a heddle loom and spinning wheel set up to test drive - come by and we'll assist you to try your hand!



Spinning Fibre
We have a variety of suppliers of roving of all types and fibres, from Corriedale to Merino, silk-merino blends to 100% wool. And the colours must be seen to be believed - vibrant rainbow shades, soft pastels - how to choose?

Accessories
We have access to Ashford's full catalogue of accessories for spinning and weaving, from drop spindles to beater bars to a full range of colours of cotton thread for warping or weaving tea towels.
