Amigurumi Adventures

We’ll be working from a cute bulky weight whale pattern, but if you’ve got another project in mind, bring it along. Whether you’re brand-new to toy making or want to sharpen your shaping and finishing skills, we’ll walk you through the essentials step by step.
- You’ll learn how to:
- Read and follow amigurumi patterns
- Work in the round with invisible joins
- Crochet colour changing techniques
- Shape your toys for a polished look
- Use stuffing and finishing techniques for sturdy, cute results
- Troubleshoot common amigurumi challenges
You’ll leave with a great start on your whale—or your chosen project—and plenty of tips to make future amigurumi even easier (and cuter).
