Jeannine McGowan, designer of The Blue Flower, draws much of the inspiration for her designs from her pets, her own history, and the vast spectrum of the natural world. The designs express her joy in many aspects of stitching – from the opportunity to be part of the historical needle work tradition, to the ongoing chance to learn new techniques and be inspired by other stitchers.
